We aim to identify promising ID researchers and trainees at Manipal, and support them, via the MAC-ID program, to attend the McGill Summer Institute in Infectious Diseases and Global Health, and other training programs and workshops of relevance at McGill. MAHE faculty/trainees will be encouraged to develop research protocols during their time in Montreal, so they can actually begin the research project upon returning to MAHE.

Training and mentorship for McGill researchers: Identify promising ID researchers and trainees at McGill, and support them, via the MAC-ID program, to conduct their thesis research at MAHE, under the mentorship of MAHE faculty.

Establishment of conferences, short courses and workshops at MAHE, jointly taught by MAHE and McGill faculty.
